Creating a Design Brief
Our first priority is to get an understanding of what your business does and who your customers are as this will help us determine how your website should look and how best to promote your products and/or services online. We will then arrange with your agreement what content, images, colours, layout etc will be built in to your website. At this point we will also consider what domain name would be best used, (and indeed is available!) for your website, e.g. www.yourbusinessname.co.uk. If you need us to provide images or take photos for the website we will arrange these before getting started. We have a background in sales and marketing, but also qualifications in Business Management, therefore anywhere we feel we could help when discussing your business needs, we will endeavour to do so.
Website Creation
We will put together your website within a timescale anticipated at preparation stage, you will have chance to assess if the site meets your satisfaction. Any amendments you would like at this point can be made, and within reason this will not increase your original quote. Extra content or major changes from the brief originally agreed can also be arranged at this point*. If happy with the finished project we will register your domain name and put your new site online. Domain registration and website hosting, as well as submission of your site to major search engines will be included in the cost of your site and we will arrange this for you.
Online Marketing Strategy
Once your website will be up and running, any email accounts set up will be
activated and you will start to see your site provide positive results for your business, with the help of the search engine optimisation done at the early stages. We will submit your website to Google and other major search engines and directories. We will encourage you to put the word out about your site, and are able to offer brochure design and business card services to include your new website and email addresses - enquire to find out more about our other design services.
Once your site is established online we can offer a number of support services:
- We can continue to manage, and make changes or additions to your website
- Paid search engine listings (Google adwords campaigns). We can manage Google adword campaigns, this is where your business website will appear on the top or right hand side of Google when people type in certain keywords.
- Ongoing reports on the progress of your website
* Any major changes to the original design brief may incur extra expense, though minor amendments will be included in the initial costs.
