How Much Does A Website Cost?
At C.B. Websites we pride ourselves on providing, cost effective and affordable websites. We will work with you and your budget. A basic brochure style website can be extremely affordable starting from as little as around £250-£300, though the price would vary according to the complexity of what you need. Because we make websites which are unique to your business, web design and online advertising work can be very much bespoke. This is why it can sometimes be difficult to give a set quote for a website until we have spoken to you about your business needs. The cost of a website created by CB Websites will always include:
- 12 months registration of your website domain name - i.e. www.yourbusinessname.co.uk
- 12 months website hosting - the storage of your website on a web-server - (domain name and hosting alone can cost around £40 per year, but is included in our basic website package)
- Content devised in co-operation with yourself - we will create a design brief with your agreement before we get started
- Submission of your site to major search engines, and website content and layout optimized to help your site climb up the natural search engine listings
- Minor changes within the first 30 days of going online
- Web-based e-mail accounts, e.g. enquiries@yourbusinessname.com. We can also arrange for e-mail addresses to be forwarded to your personal e-mail address.
Website Maintenance
Your website content and requirements are likely to evolve over time, after all your business won’t stand still. We will complete any updates or additions to your website as frequently and timely as you require them and offer two alternatives for funding website maintenance:
You may want to consider the benefits of a website maintenance plan where you would pay a fixed monthly or quarterly charge for continued maintenance and support. This means you can pre-determine your investment and within reason, you can pay for as much website development or advertising as you need without going beyond your budget.
Every time you need us to make a change or addition, you can just call or email us and we will update your website ASAP. We also provide access to statistics of visitors to your site, and make active efforts to improve the search engine ranking of your website. This plan will also ensure that ongoing costs of hosting and domain name registration are covered.
Alternatively, we offer pay as you go maintenance where we invoice on an hourly basis for the development work or online advertising we complete or arrange for you.
We will be very clear and honest as well as extremely competitive on pricing, you will know exactly what you are paying for (and how much you are paying) before we set to work.
